Kawhi Leonard brought an NBA title to Toronto, and apparently gave the hockey-loving city basketball fever in the process.
News helicopters for Canadian cable news network CP24 broadcast live footage of two SUVs driving from an airport to downtown Toronto Wednesday afternoon, on a tip that Leonard was traveling in one of them with Raptors brass.
A free agent, Leonard is still deciding whether to return to the Raptors or join the Los Angeles Lakers or Clippers, according to reports.
There are actually helicopters following Kawhi around Toronto ever since he landed today… 🤨 (h/t @JeffVeillette) pic.twitter.com/xphYsOXOIA

The plane that supposedly brought Leonard to Toronto belongs to Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Raptors. Raptors fans lined the streets outside the hotel where the SUVs arrived.
Leonard is known to value his privacy, and an insider with ties to Leonard tweeted that “a source close to the situation” said Leonard is not happy with the attention.
A source close to the situation has confirmed to me that free agent Kawhi Leonard will not be happy of the fanfare, along w/ all the leaks currently taking place in Toronto.
