CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.5% in June.
The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports the rate is down from 4.1% a year ago and slightly lower than the national rate of 3.7%.
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says Teton County - which includes Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks and the Jackson area - had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.3% in June as seasonal tourism jobs were filled.
Nearly 300,000 people were working non-farm jobs in Wyoming in June, an increase of 6,800 jobs from June 2018.
