FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Gustavo Bou scored three minutes into the match and the New England Revolution added three more goals in the second half to run its unbeaten streak to 11 games with a 4-1 victory over Orlando City on Saturday night.
Bou gave a back-heel flick to Edgar Castillo to start a give and go. As Bou took the ball back just inside the box, he used a first touch to get free and, after a second touch. slotted the ball past Brian Rowe for this second goal in just his third game with New England.
Matt Turner made several saves for the Revolution, then just two minutes into the second half, Brandon Bye sent a cross past two teammates and two defenders before Cristian Penilla put it in for his fourth goal. Carles Gil added his eighth goal with a penalty kick in the 60th minute and set up a goal by Diego Fagundez’s goal in the 75th.
Turner, who made seven saves, lost his shutout when Tesho Akindele scored his seventh goal in the 77th minute.
New England (9-8-6) has won five of six. Orlando City dropped to 7-11-5.
