BOSTON (AP) - Boston police are asking for the public’s help in finding information about a white pickup truck that may have been involved in a fatal hit-in-run crash.

Police say the truck was seen leaving the area where a male pedestrian was struck late Thursday night in Boston’s Charlestown neighborhood, near the new Encore Boston Harbor casino in Everett.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his name.

Police say the pickup is a Ford F150 that may have damage to the front driver’s side bumper, grill and headlight area. Images captured nearby show a white truck with plywood fencing around the pickup bed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Boston police homicide detectives.
