SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle police have arrested two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a man who officers found on a public bench.
The Seattle Times reported Thursday that the men aged 18 and 19 were arrested Thursday and booked into King County Jail.
The men were not immediately identified.
Police say they found 59-year-old Angelo G. Pope around 1 a.m. June 19 after responding to reports of multiple gunshots in north Seattle.
Police say Pope died after he was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office says the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.
The medical examiner’s office has ruled the death a homicide.
