AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say an air conditioning technician was found dead in the attic of a suburban Phoenix home and the death may have been heat-related.
Officials say Avondale homeowners became concerned 30 minutes after he entered the attic Thursday evening and found him unresponsive.
Firefighters arrived, brought the man down and determined he was dead.
Maricopa County spokesman Fields Moseley identified the technician Friday as Steven Ball. The county medical examiner’s office will determine cause of death.
Phoenix had a high temperature of 107 on Thursday.
