CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - State officials say Nevada’s unemployment rate remained fixed at 4% in June.
The Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation said Wednesday that while the state’s jobless rate is relatively low for the state historically, it’s still among the highest in the nation.
The department says that unemployment claims were down for the second straight month in June.
Nevada has seen a 3.3% increase in the number of jobs in the state since June 2018, a rate that’s more than twice the national average.
