GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A young Wyoming man has died in Colorado about three weeks after a motorcycle crash left him in critical condition.

The Gillette News Record reported Monday that 20-year-old Deven Dulany was receiving emergency care at a suburban Denver hospital when he died on Sunday.

Colorado doctors say Dulany’s treatment included several surgeries and amputating part of his leg.

Authorities say Dulany was thrown from his sport bike after colliding with a car in Gillette on June 25.

Police ticketed a 50-year-old man for driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

Dulany’s cousin Cori McCue says she was proud of his fight after breaking nearly every bone.

She says Dulany recently started to communicate and move his limbs but died of an infection.
