COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - DirecTV and AT&T U-verse subscribers in four Ohio television markets are among the 97 markets across the country still without an NBC affiliate station because of a contract dispute.
The impasse between AT&T and the owner of the stations, Nexstar Media Group, means NBC stations remain blank on 120 channels in 97 markets - including Columbus, Dayton, Steubenville and Youngstown in Ohio. Columbus is the second-largest TV market in the state.
The blackout began July 4.
Both companies are blaming the other for the failure to reach an agreement.
NBC and other local channels are still available in some of the markets via an HD antenna.
