DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - A Dayton city administrator who faces federal charges including bribery has been fired.

The Dayton Daily News reports that the city cited reasons including conduct unbecoming of an employee and neglect of duty in terminating RoShawn Winburn. The 45-year-old man had served as director of the city Minority Business Assistance Center and was promoted in April to business and technical assistance administrator, for an annual salary of nearly $85,000.

However, he was arrested April 30, accused of taking bribes to share confidential information about upcoming projects and not fully reviewing business certifications of people and companies. He was among four people indicted on federal charges in an investigation of alleged corruption in Dayton.

Winburn pleaded not guilty to the city’s charges and to the federal charges. His attorney declined comment.
