The Chicago Bulls are finalizing a sign-and-trade deal with the Washington Wizards in order to sign point guard Tomas Satoransky.

Satoransky is a restricted free agent — meaning the Wizards could match any offer sheet the 27-year-old signs. But it appears the Wizards have agreed to move on from Satoransky, who had started a combined 84 games over the last two seasons while star John Wall dealt with injuries.

The Wizards will receive a 2020 second-round pick and the rights to swap a future second-round pick, the Chicago Tribune reported. ESPN first reported Satoransky’s agreement with the Bulls.

Satoransky reportedly will receive a three-year, $30 million contract from Chicago.

Without Satoransky, the Wizards will have a new starting point guard next year with Wall (Achilles) set to miss most — if not all — of the season. Washington agreed to sign veteran Ish Smith earlier Monday to a two-year, $12 million deal and have also reportedly expressed interest in Isaiah Thomas.

Satoransky had shown considerable progress the last two seasons — going from fringe rotation player to a solid starter. He averaged 8.9 points and five assists per game last season. At 6-foot-7, Satoransky has considerable size for his position and has the ability to defend multiple spots.

Satoransky will get the chance to start in Chicago, while the Bulls bring rookie Coby White, drafted seventh overall in June, along slowly.

This is the second deal the Bulls and the Wizards have done in months. Washington also traded Otto Porter to the Bulls at the trade deadline in February for Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker, two expiring contracts.

Portis agreed to sign with the Knicks on Sunday, while Parker remains unsigned.
