NEWPORT, Ore. (AP) - The Latest on a fatal Oregon fishing boat accident (all times local):

The U.S. Coast Guard says it is investigating the capsizing of a Dungeness crab fishing boat in the stormy waters off the Oregon coast near Newport that killed three men.
The Coast Guard said Wednesday evening that the men had requested a Coast Guard escort across the Yaquina Bay Bar before the vessel capsized Tuesday night.
The Coast Guard says it sent a crew and a 52-foot (16-meter) boat to meet fishing boat for the escort and that it was nearby when the fishing boat capsized. The Coast Guard crew began searching for the men and called for support.
The Coast Guard says it sent another boat and helicopter while Newport Fire Department sent responders to search a nearby beach.
Authorities found the bodies of James Lacey, Joshua Porter and Stephen Biernacki late Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Authorities have released the identities of three men killed when a fishing boat capsized in rough waters off the Oregon coast.
The Oregon State Police said in a statement the victims were James Lacey, 48, of South Toms River, New Jersey; Joshua Porter, 50, of Toledo, Oregon; and Stephen Biernacki, 50, of Barnegat Township, New Jersey. Authorities say Biernacki was the skipper of the Mary B. II.
The vessel overturned about 10 p.m. Tuesday as it crossed Yaquina Bay Bar in Newport, Oregon.

The U.S. Coast Guard said the vessel, the Mary B. II, overturned about 10 p.m. Tuesday as it crossed Yaquina Bay Bar in Newport, Oregon.
Authorities say crews faced 12- to 14-foot waves during the initial response as they tried to rescue the fishermen.
KATU reports that the Coast Guard pulled one fisherman from the sea Tuesday, and the man later died. Authorities say a second body washed ashore after midnight and the third body was found on the hull of the boat.
Identities have not been released.
Newport is about 130 miles southwest of Portland.
