SEATTLE (AP) - A wrongful death lawsuit has been dismissed against two Seattle police officers in the deadly shooting of 30-year-old Charleena Lyles.

KOMO-TV reports a King County Superior Court judge dismissed the suit against officers Jason Anderson and Steven McNew but allowed the family’s lawsuit against the city of Seattle to stand.

Lyles, a mother of four, was shot seven times by officers in her north Seattle apartment in June 2017 after she called 911 to report a burglary.

The officers said she attacked them with at least one knife.

The lawsuit had accused the officers of wrongful death and civil rights violations.

Karen Koehler, the attorney representing Lyles’ estate, could not be immediately reached for comment.

The city of Seattle declined to comment on the ruling.
