SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police in central New York say a 33-year-old woman accused of running over her boyfriend with a van is facing a manslaughter charge.
Forty-eight-year-old Michael Garrett was struck in Syracuse on Nov. 23 and died of his injuries on Dec. 18.
According to Syracuse.com , police had been summoned about a domestic dispute. Ajja McClain was initially arrested on an assault charge.
She was arraigned on a manslaughter charge on Thursday. She’s being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
It couldn’t be learned from authorities if she has a lawyer who could comment on the charge.
