The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote next week on William Barr’s nomination as attorney general, Sen. Lindsey Graham announced on Tuesday.

Delaying votes for nominees is a routine practice, with Democrats typically requesting to hold the vote for a week.

With Republicans still firmly in the majority, it is likely that Mr. Barr’s nomination will move out of committee.
