President Trump took to Twitter Friday after news broke his longtime associate Roger Stone had been arrested, asking why CNN cameras were there during the raid.

“Greatest Witch Hunt in the History of our Country! NO COLLUSION! Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers and Human Traffickers are treated better. Who alerted CNN to be there?” Mr. Trump tweeted.

Mr. Stone, a longtime associate of Mr. Trump, was arrested by federal investigators early Friday morning on charges of obstruction, making false statements, and witness tampering related to the infamous WikiLeaks release of hacked DNC emails during the 2016 election as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.

The effort was coordinated by an unidentified “senior Trump campaign official,” according to the indictment who was directed to contact Mr. Stone.

CNN cameras captured FBI agents taking Mr. Stone into custody at his Florida home early Friday.
