CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water lightly stained; 48-57 degrees; 0.56 feet low. Black bass are slow on jigs, Texas rigs and spoons. Sunfish are slow on cut nightcrawlers and corn. Catfish are fair on cut and live baitfish.

BASTROP: Water stained; 56-60 degrees. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed and chartreuse/white soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait, chicken livers, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 9.48 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse spinnerbaits, craw colored jigs, and small crankbaits off points and in coves. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies and crawdad crankbaits. Crappie are fair on Li’l Fishies and tube jigs over brush piles. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 1.95 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon red curl tail grubs on jigheads, black Curb’s hair jigs, and suspending crankbaits along ledges in 10-20 feet. Striped bass are fair drifting live shad, and jigging Spoiler Shad in 25-40 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 1.81 feet high. Black bass are good on pumpkin worms, Texas rigged Red Shad worms, and tubes on jigheads in stickups in 6-15 feet. Striped bass are fair jigging Pirk Minnows and trolling Shad Raps on down riggers over humps in the lower end of the lake. White bass are fair on blade baits along main lake bluffs. Smallmouth bass are fair on smoke drop shot worms along main lake points and bluff ledges. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.03 feet high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and frozen shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are fair on electric blue Carolina rigged Finesse worms in 10-16 feet, and on spinnerbaits along the outside edges of grass. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and shrimp over baited holes.

GRANBURY: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.13 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and pumpkinseed soft plastics. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on stinkbait.

GRANGER: Water murky; 51-55 degrees; 3.72 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 4.62 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on green pumpkin tubes and black/blue Curb’s jigs around docks. Striped bass are fair on white striper jigs. White bass are fair on Spoiler Shads. Crappie are fair on minnows in brush piles under heated docks. Channel catfish are fair on minnows and nightcrawlers. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 5.27 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.25 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse crankbaits and soft plastic worms. Striped bass are fair on silver spoons. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse/black tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 8.15 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 11.01 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 47-52 degrees; 0.49 feet high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, weightless Senkos and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 48-52 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged worms, shakeyhead worms and football jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water lightly stained; 47-51 degrees; 0.21 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs, shakeyhead worms and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.02 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, suspending jerkbaits, and Ned rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 46-49 degrees, 0.02 feet low. Black bass are fair on shakeyhead worms, spinnerbaits and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs.

COOPER: Water stained; 47-52 degrees; 0.24 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, swim jigs and weightless Senkos. Crappie are fair on minnows. Hybrid striper and white bass are good on slabs.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 46-49 degrees; 0.37 feet high. Black bass are good on shakeyhead worms, Ned rigs, and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws, bladed jigs and shallow crankbaits. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.40 feet low. Black bass are fair on Billy Dyson rigs, bladed jigs, flutter spoons and football jigs. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 46-49 degrees; 1.65 feet high. Black bass are slow on Ned rigs, shakeyhead worms and suspending jerkbaits. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

JOE POOL: Water stained to muddy; 46-50 degrees; 0.15 feet low. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, Texas rigged creature baits and spinnerbaits. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnow. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

LAKE O’ THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 49-53 degrees: 4.86 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs, lipless crankbaits and black and blue jigs. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

LAVON: Water stained to muddy; 48-51 degrees: 0.54 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

LEWISVILLE: Water stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.49 feet high. Black bass are good on Ned rig worms, suspending jerkbaits and spinnerbaits. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

MARTIN CREEK: Water lightly stained; 75-82 degrees; 0.09 feet low. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws, shallow crankbaits and shakeyhead worms. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

TEXOMA: Water stained to muddy; 46-49 degrees; 1.61 feet high. Black bass are good on umbrella rigs, shakeyhead worms and suspending jerkbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Striped bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

WEATHERFORD: Water stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.08 feet low. Black bass are fair on shakyhead worms, spinnerbaits and shallow crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 48-52 degrees; 12.70 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water murky; 58-62 degrees; 24.32 feet low. Black bass are good on dark soft plastics in 15-25 feet. Striped bass are good on jigging spoons under birds. White bass are good on jigging spoons under birds. Catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch in 20-30 feet. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water murky. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on live shad and silver jigging spoons. Redfish are slow. Channel catfish are good on liver, frozen shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Blue catfish are slow.

CALAVERAS: Water murky. Black bass are fair on small crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on live shad and silver spoons. Redfish are good on live perch and shad in 15-30 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on liver, frozen shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 13.93 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon crankbaits, Rat-L-Traps, and pumpkinseed worms. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows. Drum are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 55 degrees in the main lake, 87 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 57-65 degrees; 0.37 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, shakyheads and jigs. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live shad.

FALCON: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 25.01 feet low. Black bass are fair on football jigs, Carolina rigged Senkos, and slow rolling spinnerbaits in 12-20 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on cut bait and doughbait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 53-63 degrees; 0.24 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.20 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and pumpkinseed spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps in 15-35 feet. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait and frozen shrimp.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water murky. Black bass are good on watermelon red spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and stinkbait.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 0.40 feet high. Black bass to 3 pounds are fair on black/red soft plastic worms in 8-15 feet, and on jig n pigs around stumps. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on live minnows and jigs near piers at the dam in 35 feet. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on juglines and in creek channels. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 55-59 degrees; 0.34 feet high. Black bass are good on crankbaits, buzzbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are very good on minnows in creeks. Blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with shad and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 10.31 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and watermelon gold soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair on live minnows and chartreuse spoons. Crappie are slow. Bream are fair on worms. Catfish are fair on stinkbait, frozen shrimp, and liver.

STEINHAGEN: 1.47 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 56-60 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs over brush piles. Bream are fair on worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on liver, shrimp, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 42-48 degrees; 36.49 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 47-52 degrees; 78.41 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 39-46 degrees; 49.27 feet low. No reports on black bass. No reports of smallmouth. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 42-51 degrees; 5.00 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 44-53 degrees; 0.05 feet high. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 46-52 degrees; 12.25 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyheads and jigs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 43-51 degrees; 0.67 feet high. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows around deeper structure. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 43-48 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are fair on jigs and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 42-49 degrees; 0.68 feet low. Black bass are slow on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and jigs. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 43-50 degrees; 0.36 feet high. Black bass are slow on shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 44-52 degrees; 18.77 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on shakyheads, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 47-53 degrees; 0.04 feet low. Black bass are slow on jigs and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

SPENCE: 36.44 feet low. Black bass are slow. No report on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 52-63 degrees; 0.84 feet high. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Blue catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 56-64 degrees; 0.28 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 43-49 degrees; 23.23 feet low. No reports on black bass. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Redfish are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Trout are slow due to freshwater.

SOUTH SABINE: Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good for waders on south end.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on soft plastics and plugs. Black drum and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

TRINITY BAY: Redfish are fair at the spillway on shrimp. Catfish are good in the marsh.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on Soft-Dines, MirrOlures and topwaters. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters working shell on live shrimp. Trout are fair in the mud and shell on topwaters and Corkies in the afternoon. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Black drum are good in the channel on crabs. Sand trout and whiting are good from the piers on fresh shrimp.

FREEPORT: Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs. Black drum are good at the jetties on cracked blue crabs.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters on soft plastics over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake and at Shell Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on Corkies over soft mud in waist-deep water in San Antonio Bay. Redfish are fair for drifters working the mouths of lakes on falling tide.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in Morris-Cummings Cut on free-lined shrimp. Black drum are good in the Lydia Ann Channel on crabs.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats on shrimp. Black drum are good in the Shrimpboat Channel on crabs and finger mullet. Redfish, black drum and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Black drum are good in the Humble Channel at night on crabs and table shrimp.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are fair while wading mud and grass on Corkies and Gamblers. Black drum are good in the Land Cut on crabs. Trout are fair to good in the Land Cut on DOA Shrimp.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are fair to good on Sift Dines around sand and grass at Green Island. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on Gulps and shrimp.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are good around the spoil islands, channel edges and color changes on DOA Shrimp. Black drum and redfish have been taken at the jetty.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good at Gas Well Flats on soft plastics. Redfish are fair at Three Island on small topwaters and soft plastics under rattling corks.
