JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - The only beer maker in Mississippi’s capital city is preparing to shut down.

The Clarion Ledger reports that the Lucky Town brewery opened in 2012 in the Jackson suburb of Gluckstadt. It moved to a building near downtown Jackson in 2014.

The brewery’s owners say they are stopping production because of a “string of issues that have made doing business increasingly difficult.”

Some beer remains on hand, and the tap room remains open until March 9.
