The Trump campaign is raising money by urging supporters to send bricks for a border wall to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Charles E. Schumer.

“Send a brick to Chuck and Nancy,” the email states. “Fight to fund the wall & secure the border!”

The fundraising email says a donation of $20.20 will buy one brick to send to either Democrat.

“We have set a goal to send 100,000 BRICKS to their offices to prove that WALLS WORK!” it said.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted, “Since Chuck and Nancy keep stonewalling the President, we’ll send the wall to them, brick by brick, until they agree to secure the border!”

The fundraising pitch came on Day 27 of the partial government shutdown, with no new talks scheduled on a deal to reopen the government or build a border wall.

Mr. Parscale said later that orders were “flying in” and that the campaign might reach its fundraising goal in record time. He said each “faux brick” will contain facts about the dangers of open borders, such as the lethality of fentanyl smuggled into the U.S.

“Nancy and Chuck will get a different fact on the different faux bricks,” he said. “They want to ignore facts, we will make sure they see the crime, drugs and trafficking facts that comes over the border.”
