MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Officials say no injuries were reported after bullets struck North High School in Minneapolis in the middle of the school day.
The Star Tribune reports that authorities responded to the area shortly after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of the sound of shots fired. Minneapolis Public Schools officials say the bullets hit near the front entrance of the school.
Police spokesman John Elder says officers searched the area and no suspects were located. He says evidence has been collected for analysis.
School officials say the school will resume normal operations on Thursday.
