PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A violent night of shootings around Philadelphia left two people dead and four others wounded.
Police say the first shooting happened at a south Philadelphia Chinese restaurant at 7 p.m. Tuesday, where two men entered the eatery and shot a 23-year-old man in the face as he ordered food. He died at a hospital.
The second shooting happened less than an hour later in the West Oak Lane section, critically injuring a 19-year-old man.
The other deadly shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in north Philadelphia, where a 25-year-old man was hit in the head and chest when a gunman opened fire on the street.
Later, two men were shot in west Philadelphia and are in stable condition.
The final shooting happened at 11:15 p.m., and a 36-year-old man was shot in the torso. He’s in stable condition.
