LAS VEGAS (AP) - California billionaire and Democratic activist Tom Steyer is holding a town hall in Las Vegas to discuss his push to impeach President Donald Trump.
Steyer’s event Monday night at the Nevada State Education Association will also discuss economic policy and the need for people to earn a living wage.
Steyer had been weighing a run for president in 2020 but announced last week he would not run and instead would focus on his impeachment campaign.
He’s been running television ads around the country, including in Nevada, urging the impeachment of the president.
Steyer also spent millions in Nevada last year helping Democratic candidates, registering young voters and backing a renewable energy ballot question that was approved by voters.
