Longtime NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has a bone to pick with one of his former teams, the Dallas Cowboys.
Owens went to Twitter to tell owner Jerry Jones that he ought to fire coach Jason Garrett after the No. 4 Cowboys lost in the divisional round to the favored, second-seeded Los Angeles Rams.

Owens’ point would not have been controversial a few months ago, as the Cowboys were off to a rough start and Garrett was the coach most rumored to be on the hot seat. But after Dallas traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper, their offense transformed, they finished 10-6 (7-2 after the trade) and improbably won the NFC East.
The Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round — only their second playoff win during Garrett’s eight years and change at the helm. The Rams beat them 30-22 Saturday.
Owens played three seasons in Dallas, during which time Garrett was the offensive coordinator. Owens admitted to some bias about the Cowboys’ issues after the difficult end to his time there:

And he claimed that Cowboys players hope there’s a coaching change:
