President Trump will not answer any more questions from special counsel Robert Mueller, Reuters reported recently.

“As far as we’re concerned, everything is over,” Rudolph W. Giuliani, one of Mr. Trump’s attorneys and a former New York City mayor, told Reuters on Wednesday. “We weren’t convinced they had any questions they don’t know the answer to.”

Mr. Trump submitted his written answers to Mr. Mueller in November after months of negotiation between his legal team and the special counsel team.

The special counsel’s team is investigating whether Russia and the Trump campaign colluded during the 2016 presidential election and any obstruction of justice claims.

Mr. Giuliani said the special counsel brought up possibly having follow-up questions, but Mr. Trump’s lawyers said their client would not answer them.

There has been no communication between either the special counsel or the president’s legal team since before Christmas, Mr. Giuliani told Reuters.

“They could try to subpoena him if they want, but they know we could fight that like hell,” he said.
