LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - A former employee of the University of Wyoming Foundation has settled a retaliation lawsuit she filed against the school.

The Laramie Boomerang reported Tuesday that the terms of the agreement between the university and Mandy Davis haven’t been made public.

Davis had been human resources director of the foundation, the university’s fundraising arm.

She was laid off during a reorganization in 2015, six months after filing a discrimination complaint. The complaint cited comments that Davis said were made by two university officials about an employee with a physical disability.

Davis’ lawsuit claimed the reorganization was a subterfuge to fire her in retaliation for the complaint.

University spokesman Chad Baldwin declined to comment. In a statement released by her lawyer, Davis said she was glad the issue was settled.
