The House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday postponed the closed testimony of President Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen until later this month.
Originally scheduled for Friday, the appearance was pushed back because of ongoing investigations in which Cohen was set to discuss during the hearing.
“In the interests of the investigation, Michael Cohen’s testimony has been postponed until February 28th,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, California Democrat, said in a statement.
Cohen was prohibited from discussing ongoing investigations during his testimony, according to House Republicans who had raised questions about the relevance of his appearance.
