DULUTH, Ga. (AP) - A man has been arrested in Georgia for a hit and run death earlier this week.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that police in Duluth have arrested 44-year-old Damian Arroyo Bargos and charged him with vehicular homicide, driving without a license, hit-and-run, failure to report an accident and driving too fast for conditions. There was no hometown for Bargos listed on Gwinnett County jail records.

Police say the crash was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Monday. Police have not yet identified the victim. But officers found Bargos and his vehicle Tuesday, based on leads that officers did not describe.

There was no word on an attorney for Bargos who could comment on the charges.
