RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada will open the 2019 football season at home against the Big Ten’s Purdue on Aug. 31, before traveling the next week to the Pac 12’s Oregon.
The Mountain West Conference says the Wolf Pack’s other non-conference games are at home against Weber State on Sept. 14 and on the road against UTEP on Sept. 21.
They open the league schedule at home against Hawaii on Sept. 28 and host intrastate rival UNLV in their final regular game of the season on Nov. 30.
Nevada went 8-5 this past season, including a 16-13 victory over Arkansas State in the Arizona Bowl in Tucson.
This year’s schedule features six teams that played in bowl games - Purdue, Oregon, Hawaii, Utah State, San Diego State and Fresno State.
