CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Public Service Commission is urging Frontier Communications speed up its processes for conducting a management audit that was ordered last year.
The Herald-Dispatch reports the commission said in statement that it directed the telecommunications company last week to file all delinquent documents related to the audit as soon as possible and to notify the commission immediately should it miss any more deadlines.
Frontier responded to the commission by saying it has begun seeking proposals from companies interested in conducting the audit and has set a March 4 deadline for submissions. The newspaper reports Frontier did not immediately return its messages seeking comment.
The commission ordered the audit last August after receiving complaints about Frontier’s quality of service.
