ERIE, Pa. (AP) - Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday in the trial of a man accused of having shot his wife to death in their northwestern Pennsylvania home.
The Erie Times-News reports that 45-year-old John Grazioli of Millcreek Township faces criminal homicide and other charges in the March 8 slaying of 31-year-old Amanda Grazioli.
Erie County prosecutors allege that Grazioli left a note saying he shot the victim, sent his ex-wife a message about the slaying, then drove to Erie, talked to a priest and surrendered.
Prosecutors have said the defendant had been involved in a custody battle with his ex-wife in which his new wife had been called to testify.
