BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts gambling regulators are expecting the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by casino mogul Steve Wynn soon.

State Gaming Commission Chairwoman Cathy Judd-Stein said Thursday the panel has done its part to finalize a settlement in the Nevada suit, which seeks to block release of Massachusetts’ investigation into allegations Wynn engaged in sexual misconduct with female employees.

The commission said the long-awaited report will be made public when it holds hearings on Wynn Resorts’ suitability to continue holding a state casino license.

The company is slated to open a $2 billion resort near Boston in June. The Nevada Gaming Commission recently levied a $20 million fine on the company for failing to investigate the misconduct allegations.

Steve Wynn resigned as company CEO in 2018 and has denied the allegations.
