Rep. Paul Gosar, Arizona Republican, blasted President Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen during his congressional testimony on Wednesday.

As Cohen insisted the crimes he committed were to protect Mr. Trump, the lawmaker tore into him, saying his actions were motivated by his own selfishness.

“You didn’t do this to protect Donald Trump, you did this for you,” Mr. Gosar said. “You did this for you. This is all about you.”

“No one should have listen to you or give you credibility,” he continued.

Cohen, once Mr. Trump’s loyal attorney and fixer, has turned on his former boss and cooperated with special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. He begins a three-year prison sentence in May after he pleaded guilty to lying to Congress in 2017 and committing campaign finance violations while he was working for Mr. Trump.
