DENTON, Neb. (AP) - A Lincoln woman has been accused of stealing more than $107,000 from her employer.

Lancaster County Court records say 28-year-old Amy Spencer is charged with felony theft. Her attorney didn’t immediately return a call Tuesday from The Associated Press. Her next court hearing is scheduled for March 26.

Spencer quit her office manager job in November at Midcon Underground Construction in Denton. The court records say an accountant hired to review the company books and documents showed Spencer had used a company credit card to make more than 1,000 purchases for own benefit from November 2015 until she quit.

A sheriff’s investigator says in the records that Spencer acknowledged making personal purchases with the company card.
