FRANKLIN, Mass. (AP) - A 27-year-old woman has died in a rollover car crash in Massachusetts.
State Police said Saturday that Emily Smith, of Ashland, died after her Subaru Forester struck a Toyota SUV and rolled over on Route 495 in Franklin near the Rhode Island state line.
The crash happened Friday at about 8 p.m.
Police say Smith had been speeding in the right travel lane when she veered suddenly into the middle lane and hit the Toyota. She was ejected from her vehicle after it careened back into the right lane and rolled over.
The driver and two passengers of the Toyota were uninjured.
