The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to quarterback Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos, ESPN reported Wednesday.

Flacco, 34, lost his job last season to rookie Lamar Jackson. The Broncos, who signed quarterback Case Keenum last year but finished 6-10 in 2018, will give the former Super Bowl-winning quarterback a fresh start.

The trade cannot be completed until March when the league’s calendar begins.

Flacco threw for 2,465 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions in nine games last season. The 34-year-old went down with a hip injury and while he recovered, coach John Harbaugh decided to stick with Jackson.

Flacco’s eventual exit from Baltimore was signaled last April when the Ravens drafted Jackson 32nd overall.

The Ravens drafted Flacco with the 18th overall pick in 2008.

Together, Baltimore and Flacco made the playoffs six times in 11 seasons — winning the Super Bowl in 2013.
