President Trump is intent on making America great. Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, however, is continuing to explore “What Made America Great” in season two of a unique new series on Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service founded by Fox News.

The five-episode series gets underway on Thursday.

Accompanied by assorted experts, Mr. Kilmeade will reveal the “hidden history and ongoing controversies” behind the nation’s most iconic locations including the Lincoln Memorial and The Alamo.

“There is no question that while hosting What Made America Great for FOX Nation and writing three history books, I have discovered evidence of America’s greatness. However, I believe it is more important that we provide viewers with the story and let them decide how special this country is on their own. I feel as if we are rediscovering the unlikely journey that this country took in becoming the powerful economic and military power it is today,” Mr. Kilmeade, a co-host of “Fox & Friends,” tells The Washington Times.

“It is also important for us to point out that our path and our past decisions were less than perfect. During this season, we spend time looking at Thomas Jefferson’s use of slaves, why Abraham Lincoln means so much to our history and the reasoning behind forming a more perfect union,” Mr. Kilmeade said.

In an upcoming episode, he travels to the nation’s capital to explore the Lincoln Memorial.

“Joined by former Secretary of The Interior, Ryan Zinke, Brian discovers an unseen, cavernous 43,800 square foot basement filled with supportive cathedral columns and historical graffiti from way back in 1914, during the national monument’s original construction,” notes the episode description.
