Ben Shapiro says freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar’s “all about the Benjamins baby” remarks will not elicit a formal reprimand because her party is “replete with anti-Semitism.”

The Minnesota Democrat was chastised by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and leading lawmakers this week for comments about Jewish lobbyists, but Mr. Shapiro doesn’t expect a resolution of censure.

“The Democratic Party, unfortunately, has become a party that is replete with anti-Semitism and certainly with anti-Israel activity,” he told podcast listeners Monday, Fox News reported. “The willingness to consort with open Jew-hating in the Democratic Party is pretty obvious at this point.”

Ms. Omar, 37, apologized on Monday for her remarks on the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and said colleagues were educating her on “painful history of anti-Semitic tropes.

Mrs. Pelosi told Twitter followers that she wanted to “move forward as we reject anti-Semitism in all forms.”
