President Trump threw a verbal snowball at Sen. Amy Klobuchar immediately after the Minnesota Democrat entered the 2020 presidential race.

Mr. Trump, who regularly mocks Democrats as they toss their hats into the presidential ring, also chuckled at Ms. Klobuchar announcing global warming as an issue in the middle of a Minnesota snowstorm Sunday afternoon.

“Well, it happened again. Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures,” he wrote on Twitter.

He concluded: “Bad timing. By the end of her speech she looked like a Snowman(woman)!”

Ms. Klobuchar quickly fired back on Twitter, both substantively and by taking a shot at Mr. Trump’s appearance.

“Science is on my side, @realDonaldTrump. Looking forward to debating you about climate change (and many other issues). And I wonder how your hair would fare in a blizzard?” she wrote.
