Fox News host Sean Hannity slammed fellow media personality Howard Stern in light of the latter interviewing former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday.

The conservative commentator criticized the controversial radio host while recapping Mrs. Clinton’s recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” where the former White House hopeful was asked by the legendary shock jock whether Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina had “sold his soul to the devil.”

“Stern asking — this is a little ironic — did Lindsey Graham sell his soul? The guy I grew up listening to, Howard Stern, to me, would have supported Donald Trump, not Hillary Clinton,” reacted Mr. Hannity.

“Not sure why Howard hates Trump and loves her,” Mr. Hannity added. “Makes no sense. That’s not the guy I grew up listening to.”

Mr. Stern, 65, supported Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016 despite having maintained a friendship for years with Mr. Trump, the Republican candidate and the race’s ultimate winner.

At one point in the interview, Mr. Stern brought up Mr. Graham, one of the president’s strongest supporters in the Senate, and asked Mrs. Clinton: “Has he sold his soul to the devil?”

“I don’t know the answer to that. I think that’s a fair question, however,” Mrs. Clinton responded.

“It’s like he had a brain snatch,” continued Mrs. Clinton.

Mr. Graham’s office did not immediately return a message requesting comment.

Mr. Trump appeared on Mr. Stern’s radio show somewhat regularly in the decades before running for the White House.

Speaking previously about wanting to interview Mrs. Clinton, Mr. Stern said he believed she might have been elected president had she appeared on his show in 2016.

“I went out on an all-out campaign to get Hillary to come on the show because I think it could have made a difference,” Mr. Stern said in May.
