Another week, another honor for Lamar Jackson.
This time, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback was named AFC offensive player of the month, the NFL announced Thursday. The Ravens went 4-0 behind Jackson’s 773 passing yards, 300 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns (13 passing, three rushing). Oh, and Jackson didn’t throw an interception either.
Jackson has emerged as the front-runner for the MVP race as Baltimore now holds the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 10-2 record.
The 22-year-old earned three AFC offensive player of the week honors in November, making him a clear candidate for offensive player of the month.
