CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - A woman crashed into a Florida convenience store, though no one was injured, authorities said.

The crash occurred Sunday afternoon at a Clearwater Speedway gas station, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

The 62-year-old woman driving the car told police that she had been trying to hit the brake when she accidentally hit the gas pedal. Instead of stopping, the car smashed through the convenience store’s glass exterior wall and ran over several shelves full of snacks.

Clearwater police posted photos of the aftermath on Twitter.

No customers were in the store at the time of the crash.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to determine whether the building was structurally compromised.

No charges were immediately reported.
