GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - A 10-year-old Mississippi girl with a rare chronic illness was able to attend the latest “Star Wars” premiere.

Addisyn Richards and her family were flown to Los Angeles last week for the blue carpet world premiere of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” by Kids Wish Network, The Clarion Ledger reported. The charity grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Addisyn has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which weakens the body’s connective tissues, causing frequent and painful dislocations, among other serious issues.

Photos show Addisyn beaming with stars like Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, and Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey. She also got to meet other celebrities, including Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, and director J.J. Abrams.

“She said it was nice to meet me and liked my outfit,” Addisyn recalled of meeting Ridley.

Though seen happily posing with the saga’s protagonists, Addisyn’s bright red glasses and Darth Vader skirt hint at who she truly rooted for during the film. The newspaper’s report didn’t include Addisyn’s thoughts on the film.
