Running back Marshawn Lynch could come out of retirement and sign with the Seattle Seahawks just in time for the playoffs.
Lynch is flying to Seattle today and the two sides are “open to a reunion,” NFL Network reported Monday.
Marshawn Lynch and the #Seahawks are open to a reunion, and Lynch has told people he plans to travel to Seattle today to discuss it, sources tell me, @MikeGarafolo and @TomPelissero. #BeastMode could be back in Seattle.

This comes after Seahawks running backs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise suffered season-ending injuries in Sunday’s loss to Arizona, leaving them very thin at the position.
Lynch, 33, played for Seattle from 2010 to 2015 and won Super Bowl XLVIII with the Seahawks.
Lynch has un-retired once before. He initially hung up his cleats (by tweeting a photo of cleats hanging from a phone wire) but came back to play for the Oakland Raiders, his hometown team. He last played in the NFL in 2018.
