LANDOVER — The Washington Redskins will be short at cornerback Sunday as Quinton Dunbar and Fabian Moreau are out against the New York Giants.

But don’t expect that to mean more playing time for cornerback Josh Norman.

Norman will remain on the bench with the team planning to play Danny Johnson, Aaron Colin, Kayvon Webster and Coty Sensabaugh in front of him — none of whom were on the Redskins’ Week 1 roster. The latter two — Webster and Sensabaugh — were signed last week.

Dunbar and Moreau are both battling hamstring injuries. This will be Dunbar’s second consecutive game missed with the injury, which he suffered in a Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Moreau hurt his hamstring last week against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Redskins, meanwhile, benched Norman weeks ago, though were forced to play him after a series of injuries at the position during last week’s loss. Philadelphia’s Greg Ward caught the game-winning touchdown over the 32-year-old.

“I think that it looks pretty good,” Redskins interim coach Bill Callahan said Friday of his cornerback situation. “Now there are a lot of different combinations [defensive backs] coach [Ray] Horton has been working with. We’ve had even Maurice Smith, who we brought up to the 53, playing some corner. We’ve had Sensabaugh out there at corner. We had  Colvin inside and Danny Johnson has been inside and outside – I’m referring to the slot and corner spot. We’ve got a lot of different combinations we’ve been working with throughout the week.”

Asked if Norman would continue his limited role, defensive coordinator Greg Manusky said Thursday, “Yeah, probably.”

Besides Dunbar and Moreau, here’s who else is out for the Redskins:

- Center Ross Pierschbacher

- Quarterback Colt McCoy

- Linebacker Josh Harvey-Clemons

- Running back Josh Ferguson

- Tight end Caleb Wilson
