Five-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett committed to Maryland on National Signing Day, flipping a previous verbal commitment to LSU.
Jarrett, from St. John’s College High School in the District, was the No. 21 overall prospect rated by ESPN and the second-best receiver in the Class of 2020.

Jarrett had given a verbal commitment to LSU in April.
He immediately becomes the Terrapins’ top signing of the 2020 class and the first five-star recruit to sign with the program since offensive tackle Damian Prince in 2014.
Coach Mike Locksley will hold a signing day press conference Wednesday afternoon in College Park to discuss Maryland’s class.
