LANDOVER — With his college coach Urban Meyer looking on from the FedEx Field owner’s suite, Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins had the best half of his professional career.
Haskins passed for two touchdowns, including a 75-yard catch and run by former college teammate Terry McLaurin, and the Redskins entered the locker room at halftime leading the Philadelphia Eagles 14-10.
Haskins is 12-for-17 passing for 178 yards, the pair of scores and no interceptions.
Washington got on the board on the opening play of its second possession, as McLaurin broke a tackle and sprinted to the house:

The Eagles recaptured the lead, 10-7, but the Redskins responded with a 75-yard drive aided by multiple Philadelphia penalties. On third and goal from the 5-yard line, Haskins connected with another rookie wideout, Steven Sims Jr., who expertly landed with both feet in-bounds for a touchdown.

Carson Wentz is 12-for-22 for 125 yards for Philadelphia and Miles Sanders has run for 60 yards and a touchdown on 11 touches.
