BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A small fire at a Bismarck Walmart store on Friday morning may have been started under suspicious circumstances, fire officials said.
There were no reports of injuries in the fire, which happened in the garden center of the Walmart on Skyline Boulevard.
The fire is being investigated by police and the fire departments, but officials said early signs point to it being an “incendiary fire” which is a term associated with arson.
The building was evacuated and the store closed on Friday morning. Fire officials said the building’s sprinkler system helped limit fire and smoke damage.
