MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A grand jury in Georgia has indicted a 15-year-old boy on charges he allegedly shot and killed a high school student outside an apartment complex in the city of Austell.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the teen was indicted in Cobb County on charges including malice murder, felony murder and violations of Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

Cobb police arrested and charged the teen in the May 11 fatal shooting of Namir Kelly, a 16-year-old South Cobb High School student. The suspect was arrested on May 14.

The indictment says the suspect was a member of a street gang known as RKN or Rich Kid Nation.
