Someone at Topps was having a little too much fun writing Shane Bieber’s baseball card and perhaps forgot to edit out a joke.

Though the top of his 2019 baseball card gets his name right, the Cleveland Indians’ starting pitcher revealed on Twitter that the card’s caption refers to him as Justin, after the pop singer.

Topps’ Twitter account replied with an appropriate Bieber lyric for the awkward situation: “Is it too late to say sorry?”

Bieber, 24, is not a Canadian teen pop sensation who got into some trouble as he grew up amid all the fame. He is a right-hander from California who’s already amassed a 10-4 record for 65-45 Indians, a team challenging for both the AL Central title and the AL wild card race.

But the pitcher seemed to shoulder the goof with no hard feelings. No word if Topps will print a corrected Bieber card this year, a move that could make “the Justin card” rare and extra valuable.
