McLEAN, Va. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found in Great Falls Park in Virginia.
The Washington Post reports that a kayaker spotted the body Saturday morning partially in the water.
Sgt. Eduardo Delgado, a spokesman for the U.S. Park Police, says officers will work with state forensic investigators, who also have been called to the scene.
There are high cliffs in the area, but Delgado says it’s too soon to know what happened to the man.
Delgado also says authorities were working to confirm that man’s identity.
